League of Legends Tier List: What Is It?

Basically, tier lists exist to show the competitive viabilities of each of the champions created by Riot Games, as well as their strengths.

This may change in between the League of Legends patch, with consideration for a character getting nerfs or buffs.

On that note, get your pen and paper, and let’s prepare those patch notes!

Our Best Support Champion Pick: Lulu

There isn’t a doubt in anyone that Lulu deserves to be a big part of this tier list.

Typically, we’ve seen her being paired up with Kog’maw. But being the strong and independent woman that she is, she’s still able to make it to the god tier with or without his help!

Champion Information List: Lulu

Lulu was buffed this patch, and has great statistics on making sure that the ADCs on your team remain to be hard to kill.

With Lulu, it’s also pretty ensured in the games that the play rate of the attack damage carry champions will continue to be top-notch.

Her W ability, which is being greatly highlighted this patch, is able to buff your champions’ attack speed, but also shutting down the champions of the opposing team!

Talk about deserving of being on top of the tier.

League of Legends Tier List Methodology

In this tier list, the difficulty ratings are based on how long it takes for the champions’ power level to rise with regard to the games you’re investing in them.

This is mostly in disregard as to whether you’re on solo queue or you’re out with friends.

Basically, higher skill floor champions on this tier list will scale at better rates with time investment.

That is, Severe champions will outperform the Simple champions in the long run, as Simple champions typically have their weaknesses splat on their faces as you climb the place.

Tier List Methodology in Example

Looking at our tier list, let’s say we’re predicting that you’re choosing to climb with either Jax or Rengar.

The short answer, in solo queue? Jax.

Jax has a lower floor skill, and that means it requires less games to play at an A-Tier List level in solo queue.

If you choose Rengar, you’d need about 15 matches of practice games to even make it to the same place that Jax would be at 1 game.

You’re going to want to make sure that when looking at the tier list, you have the required amount of plays to break the skill floor of a champion before you choose.

How Long Until I See Results With My Champion?

The short answer in this list: the harder the champion, the slower you’re climbing; the easier the champion, the faster.

Will This Champion Stay Strong As I Climb the List?

The short answer, as shown in this list again: the harder the champion, sure; the easier the champion: maybe not so much.

Conclusion

As you can see in this tier list, there’s a priority you have to sort out!

Would you prefer to climb the tier fast or climb with stability? The choice of how you’ll follow this tier list is all yours.

Riot Games has given us the power to choose whichever we’re comfortable with, a tier list is simply a suggested guide!

So whether you still happen to be stuck at patch 11.7 or you’re here with us at patch 11.9, the most important thing is still: HAVE FUN AND LET THE ACTUAL RIOT GAMES BEGIN!
